Use the internal filter system
Air passes through the pre-filter, HEPA particle filter and activated-carbon layer. Outdoor exhaust is optional for normal soldering setups; assess ventilation for your process.
Connect the 2 m hose
Attach the exhaust hose to the left-side metal flange to route residual odors outdoors. Keep the discharge away from occupied areas and air intakes, and confirm a suitable outlet for your installation.
The capture hose and outdoor exhaust hose serve different purposes. Additional bends, duct length and filter loading affect airflow. Confirm the installation before ordering.
MN01 & MN01W / SHARED CONSUMABLES

MN01 and MN01W use the same compatible filter set. Identify each layer below when ordering replacements.
Replace loaded layers individually. Switch off and unplug before filter access, and follow the installation order and airflow direction in the manual.

Replace the layer that needs attention.
Larger particles
The first-stage pad collects larger particles. Inspect it frequently, especially for nail dust and other particle-heavy tasks. The listed package includes 10 spare pre-filter pads.
Fine particles
The second-stage filter captures finer particles. Check filter loading and replace with a compatible MN01W filter as needed.
Odor adsorption
Carbon helps adsorb odors and certain gaseous contaminants. Its suitability and life depend on the substances present and operating conditions.
Each layer can be replaced separately. Start by checking the first-stage pad when airflow drops or the alarm sounds. Filter life depends on the material, operating time and loading. Odor reduction does not establish that air is safe.

Use source capture for PCB soldering and electronics repair. Position the hood near the smoke source while keeping room for hands and tools.
Nail dust
Place the hood near the filing area to collect dust as it is generated. Inspect the pre-filter regularly and arrange the hose around your workstation.
Small laser projects
MN01W also supports small laser engraving and cutting machines, such as 5W units. Share your material, enclosure and smoke load so we can confirm the capture and outdoor exhaust arrangement.
MN01W shares the soldering, electronics repair and nail-dust applications of MN01, with an additional option for small laser engraving and cutting. A 5W rating alone does not determine suitability: the material, smoke load and connections also matter. Larger machines or heavier smoke loads may require a larger extraction system.

The digital display shows ten airflow levels. Select the setting using the front-panel buttons or remote control.
Power & airflow control
Switch the unit on or off and adjust suction with the remote when the machine sits beside the bench.
Audible maintenance reminder
A beeping alert indicates saturated or clogged filters. Switch off and unplug before inspection, starting with the pre-filter. Replace loaded layers according to the manual.

How is MN01W different from MN01?
MN01W adds a side exhaust connection for the outdoor exhaust hose. Choose it when your installation calls for routing residual odors outdoors. Compare the exact configuration and connections before ordering.
Is the outdoor hose required for every task?
The listed configuration can be used without the outdoor exhaust hose for normal soldering setups. The hose provides an additional routing option; assess material and ventilation requirements for each task.
What accessories are listed?
